When I started the Mai Serenity Jewelry, I had no idea what I was doing, but something profound in me let me know I was on the right path. Besides, the incredible encouragement from my family and friends was enough to drive me. I started with one box of beads, and then a good friend helped me create a website and logo that boosted my confidence and increased my passion for beading. On top of that, the way my children were fascinated by the creations I made increased my desire. Even though I grew up wearing beads in Liberia, West Africa, around my waist, wearing them confidently wasn’t always pleasurable because I knew little about the art. My late grandmother made me wear seed beads around my waist. She said waist beads symbolized my feminity, sensuality, and an enhancement of my beautiful figure.

Mai Serenity believes that everyone (women) should Bead Beautiful and wear their beauty confidently. So, we take pride in inspiring confidence through the art of beading. We primarily operate online and have a great selection of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, watches, and t-shirts.

I am pleased to make unique beaded jewelry. Still, I also take great pride in supporting education, mentorship, and youth empowerment programs in Liberia, West Africa, by providing educational material, financial assistance, advocacy for local communities and schools, and feeding the elderly.
